Description
Superman Contest Prize Ring (DC Comics, 1940). Inscribed "Supermen of America, Member" this ring was produced by DC Comics to promote both the Superman and Action Comics titles. Ted Hake's Official Price Guide to Pop Culture Memorabilia rates it as "scarce", and we've only seen a handful in the past 20 years. Only 19 are known according to Hakes. Ring is tarnished, missing the red outline behind lettering, has scuffing, and surface/handling wear. Item sold as is. Presents in Good condition.From the Milt Rosenberg Estate.
