Milwaukee Journal Comics Sections featuring Superman Group (McClure, 1939-41). An impressive collection of more than 75 color Sunday comics sections from the Milwaukee Journal spanning February 1939 to April 27th, 1941, including the November 5th, 1939 section which featured Superman's first Sunday strip. It features a near-complete run of the Man of Steel's Sunday strips, with only the third one missing, as well as strips featuring Li'l Abner, Joe Palooka, Myra North, and others. The sections are in overall Good condition, with some instances of brittleness, creasing, tearing, and/or spine splitting.
