    Super Comics #1 (Dell, 1938) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. Dick Tracy's run in Popular Comics came to an end with issue 27, but only to enable Tracy to make the move to Super Comics! The gumshoe wasn't the only top character to make the switch -- he was rejoined here by Little Orphan Annie and Terry and the Pirates. The supporting features also included leading lights Gasoline Alley, Moon Mullins, Harold Teen, and many others. This comic is a Gerber "8," meaning less than 20 copies are thought to exist. Only two copies of this issue have been certified with higher grades by CGC to date. Overstreet 2004 VF 8.0 value = $1,624.
