Sega Employees' Tip Hotline Manual (Sega, c. 1990-91). When you were stuck on a game and had to call Sega's telephone tip line for help, this is the manual the employees used to help you! An internal Sega of America document, 3/4 of an inch thick, full of typed tips, cheats, helpful hints, hand-drawn maps, and walkthroughs of classic, first party Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis video games. Passwords, tips to beat bosses, how to get unlimited throwing stars on "Revenge of Shinobi" ... you name it! Pages were presumably added as games were released, and the dates span from 1990-1991. It's safe to assume that most of these tip line manuals were likely tossed once the tip hotline became obsolete when residential Internet access became available to Americans. We collectively perused these pages in awe when this came to us, and we just wish we could show every page contained within this incredible piece of Sega history!
