    Description

Walt Disney's Version of Pinocchio Walt Disney & Others Signed Book (Walt Disney/Random House, 1939). Rare first edition of this pre-release book, with production drawings from the animated film, which the studio had been working on for two years. This is Disney Studios story artist Joe Rinaldi's personal copy, hand-signed by Walt Disney himself. Joining Walt are many of Joe's co-workers who signed this copy, including Lee Blair, Walt Scott, Herb Ryman, Ed Penner, Joe Sabo, Otto Englander, Bill Peet (who signed three times throughout the book, under his art), Gordon Legg, Dave Rose, and under his printed illustration of Lampwick as a donkey, Joe Rinaldi. The book shows heavy wear, and is missing the cloth spine covering. Light soiling. Fair condition. From the Joe Rinaldi Estate.
