Disneyland - Walt Disney 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Print by Peter Emmerich #126/2500 (Walt Disney, 2001). Here's a fantastic limited edition print featuring the master storyteller himself, Walt Disney. It's a terrific image painted by Peter Emmerich, Chief Illustrator and Official Character Artist for the Disneyland to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Walt's birth in 1901. Emmerich is known for creating the fastest selling Disneyland poster of all time, "Mickey Salutes America". Due to the success of that image, Emmerich was chosen to create a series of postage stamps for the United States Postal Service highlighting images and characters from famous Disney films. It's a fantastic print of Walt and the Fab Five in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The image features Walt wearing his famous Smoke Tree Ranch logo tie. The print is number 126 of an edition of 2500 pieces. It measures about 18" x 23", framed to 27.5" x 32". Frame sold as-is. The print is gorgeous with embossed decorative imagery around the oval print. The piece is signed by the artist. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
