Description
Charles Burns "Beyond Recognition" Signed Limited Edition Stone Lithograph #100/100 (1992). An incredibly rare and unique print from Charles Burns. In 1992, Burns produced this stone lithograph called "Beyond Recognition." A stone litho is produced by drawing with a lithographic crayon directly on to a specially prepared large flat stone, from which only limited reproductions can be pulled. This image was printed by hand directly onto Rives BFK white 100% rag paper. After only 100 lithos were pulled, signed & numbered by Burns, the stone image was "effaced" (destroyed) making further editions impossible. Available here is the last of the series, numbered 100/100, which was part of Denis Kitchen's private collection, until now! The image size is 15" x 21", matted and Plexiglas-front framed to 22.25" x 28.5". In Excellent condition.From the Denis Kitchen Collection.
