Bill Watterson Calvin and Hobbes "The Last Sunday" Signed Lithograph Print dated 12-31-95 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1995). This full-color print of the very last Calvin and Hobbes strip still catches us short and brings a tear to the eye. It was a masterful way to go out: full of hope and excitement and energy. But we knew we were losing two of our dearest friends that day. We have had the privilege of selling some of these before, and in the last three years they have sold for anywhere from $10,000 - $56,400. The 13.75" x 10" print is hand-signed by Watterson in the last panel. It was sent from Universal Press Syndicate to newspapers that carried the strip. Light framing/matting wear on the marginal edges. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
