Description

Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein Prints Group of 2 (Sideshow Inc., 1995-1996). These striking prints based on Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein were released by Sideshow in successive years, capturing both the drama and artistry of Wrightson's masterwork. In 1995, they debuted a print showcasing his stark black-and-white vision of monster and maker locked in a desperate death struggle amid the clutter of the Doctor's lab -- an image that would later inspire the diorama model kit titled Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein. The 1996 follow-up, Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein: The Studies, offered a behind-the-scenes look at Wrightson's meticulous process, featuring three preparatory sketches and handwritten notes that reveal the depth behind his definitive take on Mary Shelley's classic. The prints measure 12.5" x 19" on heavy-weight, textured white paper stock. Light handling wear and in Excellent condition.
