"Mickey's Dream" Fantasia Mickey Mouse Peter Ellenshaw Limited Edition Giclee #116/396 (Walt Disney, 2002). "Try as we might, just like Mickey, it's only a dream when we think we can curtail the powerful forces of nature" said Peter Ellenshaw (1913 - 2007) while reflecting on his work for this Fantasia/Sorcerer's Apprentice piece commissioned by Disney Art Editions. The piece is hand-signed by the late Mr. Ellenshaw. Peter Ellenshaw is a Disney Legend and an Academy Award winner for his work on Mary Poppins. He is also one of the few that have had their names permanently painted in a window on Main Street in Disneyland. An honor reserved for an elite group that help create the magic. This is a hard-to-find long-sold out Fine Art giclee on canvas, created from an Ellenshaw original masterpiece. The edition size was only 395 pieces is number 116. The 24" x 36" canvas is in a 41" x 29" frame. Frame is sold as-is. The signature and numbering are fading. Otherwise, artwork is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
