"It All Started with a Mouse" Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with 32 Classic Disney Characters Limited Edition Fine Art Giclée Print Signed by Toby Bluth #26/195 (Walt Disney, 2008). On October 27, 1954, Walt Disney mused on a television program, "I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing - that it all started with a mouse". Inspired by Walt's quote on Mickey comes this celebratory limited edition Fine Art giclée titled "It All Started with a Mouse" created from a Toby Bluth (1940 - 2013) original watercolor painting. Younger brother to the iconic animator and director Don Bluth, Toby was also a long-time animator, background artist, and production designer. He was designated an "approved" studio artist for the Disney Fine Art Program as well. This nearly encyclopedic, monumental 22" x 11" pan image features a "Mickey Mouse" banner with 1930's styled Mickey and Minnie front and center surrounded by a wealth of characters from features including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, The Three Little Pigs, Dumbo, The Three Caballeros, and Bambi. Even the Sorcerer's magic hat from Fantasia is included, wow! This rare piece, which has been sold out for 15 years, is printed on 27" x 16.25" deckled edge acid free Somerset Rag Paper. It is signed by Toby and hand-numbered 26 of 195 in gold ink in the lower corners, and comes paired with a Certificate of Authenticity. There is some light smudging near the right edge, however overall, this piece is in Very Good to Fine condition with minimal handling.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
