Description
Patrick Nagel Joan Collins #411 Printers Proof Serigraph (Mirage Editions, 1983). Patrick Nagel is best known for his illustrations for Playboy magazine and designing the cover to the best-selling album Rio by the pop group Duran Duran. Nagel also painted several celebrity portraits including Joan Collins (whose portrait was subsequently released with the limited edition print). Using strong areas of bold lines, and unusual angles of view, Nagel developed his distinct style of the "Nagel woman" that remains popular nearly four decades later. The poster measures 28" x 36", and has faint surface scuffs in the top area of the image and in the hair. Edge wear and small bumps.
