Incredible Hulk Marvelmania Poster (Marvel, 1969) Condition: Very Fine. In 1969, Marvel unveiled its new a fan club, Marvelmania International, replacing The Merry Marvel Marching Society, which had been in operation since 1966. Marvelmania wasn't as much of a fan club as it was a mail order firm selling Marvel merchandise. A somewhat fast-and-loose operation from the start, and is one of the great little-known tales of the Bronze Age, and offered here is one of the early Marvelmania posters, which are highly coveted by collectors and consequently have been garnering considerable bidding attention as of late, with prime individual examples from the series selling for as much as $800! This Hulk poster, measuring 22" x 33", and with art by the great Herb Trimpe, is in Very Fine condition, with slight toning and a few corner pinholes.Auction Info
