Description
Disneyland Assorted Poster Collection Group of 3 Walt Disney, c. 1980s). In this lot is a wonderful assortment are two Disneyland posters, titled, "This is Disneyland" and one from Walt Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club. The Disneyland posters each measure 22" x 30". One poster features Tom Sawyer's boat in the Rivers of America at Disneyland. The other Disneyland poster features Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Opened 7/17/55, the castle is the oldest of all the Disney castles. Designed by Herbert Ryman, it reaches a height of only 77 feet, it was designed to appear taller through a process known as forced perspective where design elements are larger at the foundation and smaller at the turrets. The third poster is from Walt Disney World's Yacht and Beach Club. The poster measures 17.5" x 33" and shows an aerial view of the resort property. Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a New England nautical-themed resort, first opened on 11/5/90. Disney's Beach Club Resort is a beach-themed deluxe resort at the Walt Disney World which opened about a week later on 11/19/90. Included is a flyer advertising the amenities at Walt Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Edge wear from normal handling. The posters come rolled. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
