    Description

Pokémon First Edition Neo Genesis Set Sealed Booster Box (Wizards of the Coast, 2000). Neo Genesis was the first set of the Neo Series which featured the second-generation Pokémon from the Johto region. The eighth set from the widely popular Trading Card Game was released on December 16, 2000 and included 111 cards. This sealed First Edition Neo Genesis Booster Box includes 36 booster packs, each with 11 cards, for a total of 396 cards! Since the box is still in its original Wizards of the Coast wrapping we can assume that all cards are likely in GEM MINT condition. On July 9, 2020 we sold a similar box for $15,600. From the Pokémon Central Collection.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
