    Description

Neal Adams Green Lantern #76 Cover Hand-Painted Color Guide (DC, 1970). It's the book that launched the Bronze Age of Comics! This is the original color guide, created with a black and white print of Neal Adam's glorious cover artwork painted over with watercolors (believed to be hand-applied by Gaspar Saladino) for use as a printer/engraver's guide. A white china marker or crayon was used for the type blurb at the top and the 15¢ price, along with green and light blue watercolor. The 7" x 10.5" guide has been trimmed to the borders, with a couple of small corner creases, but overall it's in Very Fine condition.
