Mr. Magoo's Arabian Nights/Rheingold Beer Movie Scripts and Point of Sale Display Group of 3 (UPA, 1957/1956). Presented is a collection of three unique Mr. Magoo items from the 1950s. First is a Point of Sale display card for Rheingold Beer. Magoo was spokesman for the brand for many years and this is a delightful piece of advertising, playing off Magoo's near-sightedness. It is printed on heavy board that measures approximately 9" x 12" and is dated 1956 in the small copy along the bottom. With it is a set of two original scripts for the Mr. Magoo feature film Magoo's Arabian Nights, later released in 1959 as 1001 Arabian Nights. One script is a first-round copy in a UPA binder dated 1957 and has 58 pages and the other is the revised copy in a yellow binder with 141 pages. The entire lot shows light handling and condition is Very Good. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
