Description
The Disney Store - Pair of Chip 'n Dale Character Displays with Barrel Prop (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). From the Disney Stores, here's a fantastic pair of character display figures featuring Donald Duck's rascally adversaries, Chip 'n Dale, with a huge barrel prop of acorn nuts. Chip is the brains of the duo and easily recognized by chocolate chip nose. Dale is the accident-prone one, known for his red nose and the tuft of hair on his head. In this group of store display props, Chip 'n Dale measure roughly 10" x 12. The barrel of acorn nuts is a whopper at 22" x 18" and weighing in at 12 pounds. These prop pieces were actual displays in The Disney Store and were never sold to the public. Incredibly popular with customers, these oversized character props inspired the highly collectible Disney Big Figs which were sold exclusively through Disney retail stores, parks, and catalogs throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. These very rare store props exhibit typical wear from their use and removal. Despite cracks in the barrel, paint chips, scuffs and scratches as expected, these props will display nicely in any animation collection.
