    Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Whobris Suit Worn by Clint Howard (Universal, 2000). Jim Carrey starred as the Grinch in this full-length feature film adapted from the Dr. Seuss book of the same name. It was a box office hit and won the Academy Award for Best Makeup as well as a nomination for Best Costume Design. In this lot is one of those costumes which was worn by Clint Howard, the younger brother of Director Ron Howard. Clint played the role of Whobris, the right hand Who to Mayor Augustus May-Who played by Jeffery Tambor. The custom tailored suit with tan shirt and plaid tie comes complete with a Seussian Boutonnière pinned to the lapel. Tailored specifically to the actor's measurements, there are no tags indicating size, but it is reported that Mr. Howard stands approximately 5'6". As an added bonus the screen-worn garment comes with an autographed photo from the film of Clint Howard wearing it. This unique piece of Dr. Seuss and Ron Howard film history comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Minor wear and use. Condition is Very Good.
