    Description

"Disney Dimensions" Limited Edition Raku Vases Group of 4 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). In the early 1990's, Walt Disney Art Editions introduced a line of highly stylized Fine Art pieces called Disney Dimensions. It was introduced at Disney-Preferred gallery's, Disney stores, and Disney Theme Parks and one of the very first pieces released was a hand-crafted Raku vase featuring Dopey on it designed by artist Amadio Smith. The Dopey vase was a hit with collectors and three more were commissioned featuring Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Tinker Bell, and Donald Duck. This lot includes all four. The edition sizes varied and offered in this group is Dopey #91, Mickey #320/500, Tink 63/500 and Donald which was an un-numbered edition. They range in size from 14" to 15" tall and all are signed by the artist on the bottom. While all four pieces are difficult to find, Dopey is by far the rarest. Overall condition for the lot is Very Good.
