    Description

Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Prop Whoville School Book Group of 2 (Universal, 2000). Ron Howard directed the blockbuster holiday live action movie that starred Jim Carrey as the Grinch. It won an Academy Award for Best Makeup. It was the first Doctor Seuss book that was ever made into a live action movie. This lot is for two film-used props: "The Whoville Science of Christmas Book" and a "Whoville School Composition Book." They both were originally sold at the March 24, 2003 Grinch Props auction put on by Take 2 Props, a Division of Arizona Picture Cars. Each one has its original Letter of Authenticity. The composition book has some water damage (mostly visible on the unused inside pages) and a spot of mold along the spine and label; it's in Good condition. The Christmas book (a real "Reading Comprehension" school book with pasted-on prop covers) shows minor handling wear, but is otherwise Fine.
