    Description

Black Friday Horror-Movie Half-Sheet (Realart Pictures, R-1947). The last of Universal Pictures' bogeyman pairings of Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi is more of a starring picture for Stanley Ridges, pictured at upper right. He plays a mild-mannered professor who becomes a menacing gangster, thanks to a brain operation performed by Karloff. Lugosi handles a lesser mobster role. The 1940 production was reissued in 1947 by Jack Broder's Realart company -- hence this handsome display. Dimensions, 26" X 20". Vertical creasing (storage); light retouching at center; marginal handling wear and one small tear (lower edge, right-of-center). Very Good condition.
