Walt Disney World - Park-Used Mickey Mouse "Fort Wilderness" Sign (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Fort Wilderness is a themed camping resort located in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area at Walt Disney World. It officially opened in 1971. The resort is nestled on 750 acres of pine and cypress forest in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The campground evokes the timeless beauty of the American frontier, teeming with wildlife such as deer, ducks, armadillos, and rabbits. Presented in this lot is a sign featuring the campground's logo. The sign features Mickey Mouse in his Davy Crockett costume and brandishing his musket. This park-used sign measures about 12" in diameter. It's a great piece and is in Very Good condition with some mild scuffs and scratches.From the Rummell Collection.
