Description
Walt Disney Studios - Mickey Ave/Dopey Drive Limited Edition Street Sign Replica (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). This is a VERY RARE limited edition replica street sign created by Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily in an edition of only 500 pieces. This sign is based on the original directional sign seen at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. It is considered one of the most iconic landmarks at the studio and has been prominently featured in numerous photos and films. The sign faithfully recreates the original with eight moveable arms identifying Mickey Ave, Dopey Drive, and the Inbetween, Animation, Layout, Multiplane, Special EFX, and Ink and Paint Departments. The sign is constructed of resin and metal with silk-screened imagery. The sign was professionally repainted in order to more closely resemble its real-life counterpart at the studios. It measures approximately 7' (85") tall. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. The condition is Very Good with minor wear from use. This is a very cool piece and would be a great addition to any Disney collection.From the Rummell Collection.
