Description
Walt Disney Studios 55 Year Service Award (Walt Disney, c. 2000). Donald Duck has the distinction of being featured on the 40-year service award and the 55-year award. This RARE service award was given to Carmen De La Torre-Sanderson. Carmen began in the traffic department running packages between the Ink and Paint building and the Feature Animation building. She was so intrigued with the gals in the Ink and Paint that she would later join the department. "I just took to it like a duck takes to water, and I was on production after the third day of training" said Carmen. The 55-year award is extremely rare as only 22 cast members have ever received a 50-year award! Imagine being part of the Disney magic for 50 years.
