Description
Walt Disney Studios 10 Year Service Award and Motion Picture Screen Cartoonist Contract (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). Presented is a RARE 10-year Disney service award. This award was given to Disney Studio employee, Dorse Lanpher (1935 - 2011). Lanpher was a visual effects animator known for his work on The Black Hole (1979), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Aladdin (1992). He also animated the "Rhapsody in Blue" segment of Fantasia 2000. Disney service awards are highly sought after by collectors of Disney memorabilia and ephemera. This piece is engraved with, "Thanks Dorse. Mickey and the Gang." Included with the service award is a copy of the Motion Picture Screen Cartoonist Contract for 2000-2003. Minor scuffs.
