"We're keeping the puppies - every single one of them!" Inspired by Walt Disney Productions' One Hundred and One Dalmatians, proud father Pongo watches over three of his puppies in this large "Walt Disney's One Hundred and One Dalmatians 45th Year - Pongo with Puppies" Big Figure released through Walt Disney Collectibles! Disney Big Figures debuted in 1989 with a simple release of the "Disney Standard Characters" Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. However, Disney retail branches expanded the collection to include exclusive and limited-edition figure releases based on popular feature films, issued through The Disney Store, The Disney Catalog, and Disney Parks. Walt Disney Production's One Hundred and One Dalmatians is remembered for its warm and charming cast of characters including Pongo animated by Frank Thomas, Blaine Gibson, and assistant animators. Designed by artists Kevin and Jody, "Walt Disney's One Hundred and One Dalmatians 45th Year - Pongo with Puppies" is an impressive resin figure comprised of a "Pongo and Puppies" figure, Puppy figure, three removable tails, and a living room rug display base. The characters "come to life" with delicately applied hand-painted features. This commemorative collectible was released through Walt Disney Collectibles, "retired", and has long since been sought after by fans and collectors. Measuring 11.5" x 19" x 21", this Big Figure is in Fine "as-new" condition, and is accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity, polyform foam packaging, and the original 16" x 23.5" x 25" box numbered "5 of 320".
