Walt Disney Collectibles - "Steamboat Willie 80th Anniversary" Large 3' Mickey Mouse Big Figure (Walt Disney, 2008). Walt Disney Collectibles celebrates the grand 80th anniversary of Mickey Mouse's historic third film "Steamboat Willie" with this large Big Figure! Walt Disney's "Steamboat Willie," released 1928, has become distinguished as one of the first fully synchronized sound cartoons and is praised as one of the greatest animated short films of all time. This large figural sculpture recreates the memorable moment from the motion picture when Mickey Mouse stands at the wheel of the paddle Steamboat, with a plaque commemorating the film's 80th anniversary! This figure is comprised of four pieces - Mickey Mouse, Mickey's captains' hat, the wheel, and the base. Mickey Mouse measures 33" x 20" x 27" (without his hat), the wheel measures 29.5" x 28.5" x 5.5", and the base measures 21.75" x 26" x 4". The figure is in Good condition, exhibiting repair to the hat, cracking to the mounting hole of the wheel and on Mickey's pants (near his wire tail), a few scuffs and minor wear.Auction Info
