Walt Disney Collectibles - Kermit the Frog Disney Big Figure (Walt Disney, 2005). "Hi Ho! Kermit the Frog here!" We are happy to introduce the amphibian embodiment of lovers and dreamers in this collectible Walt Disney Collectibles Big Figure celebrating the 50th anniversary of Jim Henson's Kermit the Frog! During the 1970s, Floridian Swamp resident Kermit T. Frog headed to Hollywood, where he nearly launched Doc Hopper's French Fried Frog Legs campaign before received his big break in the puppet sketch comedy series called Sam and Friends. Kermit went on to co-star on early episodes of Sesame Street which led to his big break as the emcee of The Muppet Show, a charming variety television series from 1976 to 1981. This masterfully crafted resin figure of Jim Henson's most-famous Muppet creation replicates the frog's unique fleece texture, his "cool and friendly-like green," embellished with Kermit's own trademark felt collar, resting comfortably atop a stately Muppet Theatre column. Released in a limited edition of 300 this Walt Disney Collectibles Collection figure has long since sold out. Measuring 23.5" x 13" x 9", this rare unnumbered figurine is in Very Good condition exhibiting minor wear, and proudly presents the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational star that is Kermit the Frog!Auction Info
