Description
Tummy Trouble Baby Herman and Bottle Animation Drawing Sequence of 15 (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1989). "Big bottle!" "Hey, Baby, that's not your bottle. Come back, come back!" Spying a much tastier looking treat, Baby Herman tosses aside his standard infant bottle in this comically dramatic sequence of 15 original rough animation drawings from the first Roger Rabbit sequel short, Tummy Trouble. This seven and a half minute short saw a theatrical release alongside Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, debuting about a year after Roger's feature film (almost to the day) on June 23, 1989. The first of three theatrical shorts in the franchise to star Roger's antics in attempting to care for Baby Herman, Tummy Trouble saw the duo in an emergency trip to St. Nowhere Hospital where shenanigans expectedly ensue. Following his runaway bottle, Baby Herman stumbles upon a large bottle-shaped piece of equipment for radiation treatment and can be seen tossing away his old drink beginning near the 4:20 timestamp leaving a bound Roger screaming for him to stop. Presented across 15 sheets of 12 field animation paper with frame numbers found in the upper right, Baby Herman and his mid-air bottle have been rendered loosely in graphite and/or blue pencil ranging in size from approximately 3.5" x 1.5" to 4.5" x 6" across the sequence featuring full-figured images for the majority of Herman's drawings. With typical handling and edge wear including faint age-related toning, center peghole reinforcement, superficial surface wrinkles, and a few small edge tears, overall this decisive sequence is in Good to Very Good condition.Auction Info
