Description
The Walt Disney Gallery - Rare "Tinker Bell" in Lantern Illuminating Big Figure in Box (Walt Disney, c. 1999). "Thank you, my dear! You've been most helpful!" The purulent pixie has been trapped by the nefarious Captain Hook in this illuminating display of the memorable scene from Walt Disney's Peter Pan! Walt Disney's feature-length motion picture Peter Pan (1953) adapted J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan and introduced the reimagined character of Tinker Bell to whole new audiences. This Big Figure (Item #24414) three-piece set is comprised of a metal "lantern", resin display base, and 6.5" tall resin figurine of Tinker Bell. The Never Land fairy is brought to life with an intricate sculpt and delicately applied features and is accentuated with magical embellishments including a thread "bow", shimmering "pixie dust" covered wings, and pearlescent pom-poms. "Tink" is presented in a lantern, and atop a base replicating Hook's flintlock musket resting on a Pirate Ship table. The entire scene is accented by "lantern light" - an illuminating display requiring 2 AA batteries (not included). Released limitedly through Disney Direct and The Walt Disney Gallery, sold out and "retired", and has long-since been sought after by fans and collectors. Measuring 12"x 13"x 18", this rare Big Figure is in Fine condition.
