Description

The Official Disneyana Convention Exclusive - Scrooge McDuck "Who's Out There?" Sold-Out Limited Edition Bronze Figure #79/131 (Walt Disney, 1998). "I made it by being smarter than the smarties and tougher than the toughies." Scrooge McDuck defends his money bin in this medium-size Lost Wax Bronze Figure released exclusively through The Official Disneyana Convention! Carl Bark's timeless tycoon first appeared in "Christmas on Bear Mountain" published in Dell's Four Color Comics #178 (December 1947). "Who's Out There?" was designed by Bruce Lau and depicts "the richest duck in the world" defending his wealth with a cannon in a scene inspired by a memorable panel of Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge Comics #35. Since 1961, what came to be known as the "Anti Beagle Boy Cannon" has played a part in numerous comics and stories featuring the Beagle Boys, Magica de Spell, and other nefarious thieves. This Walt Disney World Official Disneyana Convention Exclusive was released in a limited edition of 131 in 1998, sold out and was "retired", and has long-since been sought after by collectors. This charming medium-size Lost Wax Bronze Figure of the timeless character numbered "79/131" measures approximately 10.5" x 12" x 12" and is in Fine condition with light handling, accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity numbered 79 of 131. This collectable stands a testament to the lengths that Scrooge Mc Duck will go to defend both his Money Bin and Number One Dime!
