The Disney Store - Tinkerbell 4" x 8.5" x 11.5" Character Display Figure (Walt Disney, 1987 -2000s). "Now think of the happiest things! It's the same as having wings!" Tinkerbell waves her magic wand and spreads a little pixie dust in this figure prepared for a thematic display in a location of The Disney Store! The prominent Disney Fairy debuted to theatrical audiences in Walt Disney's Peter Pan, but first waved her magic wand as the emcee for the televised introduction of Walt Disney's Disneyland. Decades later, the "breakout star" was celebrated, appearing in tableau within The Disney Store. The first Disney Store opened in 1987, with new locations opening and operating for 34 years, until the last store closed its doors in September 2021. These pieces were never intended for sale to the general public and are of the few salvaged from the memorable retail chain. Measuring 4" x 8.5" x 11.5'', this figure prop is crafted of fiberglass with colorful hand-painted features and features a removable wand accessory and base pin from its original display. This rare figure of Ms. Bell is in Good condition exhibiting a vibrant palette, chips to painted areas, scuffs and other wear. This nostalgic figure captures the character of the pixie in a lovely, animated pose, as previously only seen in a location of the memorable, magical retail chain that was The Disney Store!Auction Info
