The Disney Store - RARE Bambi 24.25" x 12" x 27" Rocking Toy Holiday Display (Walt Disney, 1987 - 1990s). "Everything in the forest has its season," like this enchanting Bambi Rocking Toy prop, a rare sculpted figure crafted for winter seasonal display of The Disney Store! The first Disney Store opened in 1987, with small-scale movie tableaux and thematic displays referencing the pantheon of characters from Walt Disney Productions. This Bambi Rocking Toy prop was cast in Fiberglas and features a hand-painted patina evoking the character of a wooden children's toy. This lot carries the unique distinction of being previously sold through Disney Auctions hosted by the Official Disneyana Fan Club. This thematic prop was part of a temporary winter season display inside The Disney Store during the 1980s. This piece was not initially intended for sale to the general public and is of the few salvaged during an early renovation and uniquely sold through Disney Auctions hosted by the Official Disneyana Fan Club. Measuring 24.25" x 12" and 27" tall, this extremely rare artifact from the formative years of The Disney Store is in Very Good condition, exhibiting scuffs, paint chips, and wear. This is purely a decorative, handcrafted artwork and was never intended for play. As the majority of extant display figures were salvaged from store locations that closed in September 2021, this is assuredly one of the rarest artifacts you'll ever encounter from The Disney Store!Auction Info
