Description
The Disney Store - Pair of Ludwig Von Drake and Goofy "Frankenstein" Character Display Figures (Walt Disney, 1990s-2000s). Ludwig Von Drake and Goofy play the roles of Dr. Frankenstein and his creature in this stellar pair of fiberglass character display figures from The Disney Store. Enormous depictions of the beloved Disney characters in a parody of Frankenstein, Ludwig and Goofy measure approximately 23" and 38" tall, respectively. These prop pieces were actual displays in The Disney Store and were never sold to the public. Incredibly popular with customers, these oversized character props inspired the highly collectible Disney Big Figs which were sold exclusively through Disney retail stores, parks, and catalogs throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. The figures show chips, scuffs and scratches as expected from years of store use, and Goofy's helmet shows cracking and a hole at the top. Helmet is removable. The lot includes one detached lens for Ludwig's glasses. Ludwig is mounted to a wood board for stability, and the gadget he holds contains a replacement bulb (does not light, for display purposes only). Overall the condition is Fair to Good.Auction Info
