Description
The Disney Store - Pair of Goofy and Donald Duck Character Display Figures (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). Created for the Disney Store display titled "Mickey's Magical Music Shoppe," presented is a stunning pair of rare character display figures of Goofy and Donald Duck jamming on the accordion and tambourine. Though immensely popular with customers, these display props were never sold to the public. The admiration for the oversized characters inspired the highly collectible Disney Big Figs, which were sold exclusively through Disney retail stores, parks, and catalogs throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. This pair of fiberglass figures includes Goofy at 42" tall and Donald Duck at 26" tall. The lot includes the detachable accordion and tambourine used in the display. These very rare store props exhibit typical wear as expected from their use and removal. Despite the chips, scuffs and scratches, they present beautifully and are excellent conversation pieces. The figures include cloth elements, and Goofy's ears are detachable. The overall condition is Fair to Good.Auction Info
