The Disney Store - "One Hundred and One Dalmatians" 24" Puppies Display Figures Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1995). "Look, Anita! Puppies everywhere!" Presented in this lot is a collection of four very rare Disney Store display figures of Dalmatian puppies inspired by Walt Disney's One Hundred and One Dalmatians! The dalmatian puppies first captured the hearts of readers in "The One Hundred and One Dalmatians" by Dodie Smith, before their adaptation for the feature-length animated Walt Disney Production. Resonating with future generations of audiences, the lovable characters ultimately appeared in tableau that enhanced the thematic stage of The Disney Store (1987 - 2021). These pieces were never intended for sale to the general public and are some of the few salvaged from the memorable retail chain after rehabilitation or upon the closure of a location. The dalmatian puppies are made of hand-painted fiberglass and bear a 1995 Walt Disney Company copyright mark on their "collars". These figural props measure about 9 x 11.5'' x 15'', 13'' x 10'' x 15'', 9'' x 14.5'' x 18.5'' and two even include the original store price tags! They are in Fair to Good condition exhibiting chips to painted areas, scratches, scuffs, and wear.
