The Art of Disney Theme Parks - "Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice" SOLD-OUT Magical Big Figure (Walt Disney, 2006). The lovable star of Walt Disney's Fantasia is celebrated through "Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice" Magical Big Figure, an Art of Disney Theme Parks Exclusive! Disney Artist Richard Sznerch was inspired by Walt Disney's musical motion picture masterpiece Fantasia (1940), to create "Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice". The artistic work depicts Yen Sid's protégé, poised to utilize the power of his imagination to make magic. Mickey is brought to life with a dynamic sculpt cast in resin, a delicate and carefully applied color palette; Mickey wears his iconic sorcerer's hat decorated with celestial luminaries, a flocked red robe, and has shimmering "magic" accents at his fingertips. The memorable mouse is presented atop a display base in the character of a ledge with translucent waves below. Additionally, Mickey's "watery" display base illuminated by 3 AAA batteries (not included). This figure was released through Disney Theme Parks and Resorts in 2006, when it sold out, was "retired", and has long since been sought after by fans. Measuring 9" x 19" x 19", this rare large figure is in Very Good condition, exhibiting few scuffs or signs of wear and is sure to inspire the power of imagination in your very own magical realm!Auction Info
