This auction lot, warehoused for decades, comes from the vast Anime Archive Collection of Al Zequeira, a pioneer in the field of Anime, who helped bring the genre from Japan to the U.S. in the 1980's and promoted it during his association with the now legendary Kimono my House and Streamline Pictures, as a graphic designer of t-shirts and cloisonne pins and as a garage kit Art Director. Mr. Zequeira went on to become a film, television, music video, and commercial prop & set dressing fabricator, on such productions as The Chronicles of Riddick, Star Trek: Voyager & Deep Space Nine, an Art Director, Production Designer in Asia, and a Walt Disney Imagineer (Tokyo DisneySea). He has since worked with such recording artists as Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.
