Description

Stan Freberg's US Army ID Bracelet and Photo Group (c. 1945). Stan Freberg was drafted into the US ARMY in 1945. He was first stationed at Fort MacArthur as a baker and as a writer for the Fort MacArthur Alert. He was promoted to corporal, and became the associate editor for the ARMY newspaper The Needle in Pasadena before a transfer to Special Services. This is Stan Freberg's personal ID bracelet, inscribed "Stanley V. Freberg US ARMY." A vintage family photo of him is included of him in his ARMY attire, with his ID bracelet, performing at a microphone. A sign of things to come! Fine condition.
