Description

Stan Freberg's Sound Effects Prop and Costume Group (c. 1950s-90s). No auction for Stan Freberg would be complete without a lot that represents the "fun" in Freberg. This lot has some of his original sound effects tools that he used on radio and on record. There is a turtle whistle, a kazoo, coconut shells, drum sticks, bell and other sound effects pieces, and a photo of him working with Disney sound effects man Jimmy MacDonald (and one time voice of Mickey Mouse) on "The History of the United States of America." Also in this lot is Stan's brass duck handle walking cane, his personal Mickey Mouse watch, and the Halloween cape that he wore to Ray Bradbury's house for Halloween parties. All are sold as-is and in unknown working order.
