Description
Stan Freberg's Grammy Nomination and School of Journalism Medallions (1981/1997). In 1997, Stan Freberg was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Comedy Album, for Stan Freberg Presents the United States of America Vol. 2 (The Middle Years). Here is his bronze Nomination medallion, plus a bronze medallion awarded by the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 1989, noted on the back as "Presented to Stan Freberg for Distinguished Service in Journalism." These are both heavy medallions; the Grammy medallion measures approximately 2.25" in diameter; the Journalism medallion measures 2.5". Both include ribbons, and in a single 4.5" x 7.5" x .75" case.
