Description

Stan Freberg's Driver's License and Handwritten Phone Book Group (c. 1990s). This lot is a great insight into the world of Stan Freberg. The lot includes his personal, photo-included California Drivers License (which expired on 8/7/91) and his personal phone book with Stan's handwritten entries. Included among the numerous entries: Harry Langdon, the Auto Club, Amtrak Train (Stan did not enjoy flying), Roddy McDowall, Dave the Tailor, Beverly Hills Hilton, Jeno Paluccio (Frozen Food king who hired Stan to do a series of classic TV commercials for Jeno's Pizza Rolls), Larry King, Bill Melendez, the famous Musso and Frank grill in Los Angeles, Harry Shearer, Johnny Rockets, and more. The phone book is 7" x 5". Fine overall condition.
