Founded in 1993 by Matt Groening, Bongo Comics made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con that same year, introducing fans to a new line of titles such as Simpsons Comics, Bartman, Radioactive Man, and Itchy & Scratchy Comics. This program is from the second year of Bongo's Comic-Con appearances, marking an important period in the publisher's growth as it expanded the reach of The Simpsons into the comic book world.
