This rare early program from the 1994 San Diego Comic-Con is a must-have collectible, signed by The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, who adds a sketch of Marge, comic book artist and Bongo Comics co-founder Bill Morrison, and writers and artists Steve and Cindy Vance, who played key roles in the launch and success of Bongo Comics. Cindy Vance also contributed as a colorist, helping bring the vibrant world of The Simpsons to life in comic book form. Founded in 1993 by Matt Groening, Bongo Comics made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con that same year, introducing fans to a new line of titles such as Simpsons Comics, Bartman, Radioactive Man, and Itchy & Scratchy Comics. This program is from the second year of Bongo's Comic-Con appearances, marking an important period in the publisher's growth as it expanded the reach of The Simpsons into the comic book world. San Diego Comic-Con, which began in 1970, grew to become a major cultural event celebrating comic books, movies, TV, and pop culture. By the mid-90s, it had evolved into an international phenomenon, serving as a platform for exclusive announcements, panels, and fandom celebrations.
