Roy Rogers Shootin' Iron Cap Pistol in Original Box (George Schmidt Manufacturing Inc., c. 1950s). This is the Roy Rogers Shootin' Iron cap gun that was made in several variations by George Schmidt Manufacturing of Los Angeles in the 1950s. This one has "Roy Rogers" in raised lettering on both sides above the trigger, "And Trigger" with horseshow in the upper, and "RR" in the lower portion of the black plastic handle on both sides. The silver-color portion of the pistol is bright and shiny. The black plastic grips on either side of the handle seem a bit rubbed. The pistol is in fine working order, in overall very nice and presentable condition. Pistol measures 9.875" x 4" x 1.5"; the original two-piece box measures 4" x 1.5" x 10". The metal and plastic toy is in Fine condition, with Very Good (incomplete) box.
