Description

Robot Carnival "Franken's Gears" Production Cel with Key Master Background (A.P.P.P., 1987). Presented is a hand-painted production cel with its rare Key Master background depicting the moment that a mad scientist brings his robot to life in "Franken's Gears," the first segment of Robot Carnival! This setup still can be seen at approximately the 12:20-24 mark, during the opening of the motion picture. This setup comes from the Carl and Svea Macek Collection. The 12-field production cels measure 12" x 9" and the background measures 17" x 12.5". Each piece is in Good Condition, exhibiting minor wear, and some of the paint stuck to the cels layers. The background shows tearing and wear, mostly to its edges.
From the Streamline Pictures Carl and Svea Macek Collection.
