Peter Schneider's Personal Disney Standard Character Guidebook Oversized Binder (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). The business of keeping Walt Disney's main classic cartoon characters consistent requires a massive reference resource, and this huge 7-ring binder is what the studio used during Peter Schneider's time as Studio President (1999-2001). There are ten sections plus an index: Introduction (29 numbered pages); Guidebook Information (five pages); Legal Guidelines (no pages); Drawing Style (no pages); Mickey Mouse (47 pages); Minnie Mouse (47 pages); Donald Duck (47 pages); Daisy Duck (41 pages); Goofy (41 pages); and Pluto (39 pages). There are also full-page chapter heading images of each character and other unnumbered pages in this massive guidebook. Each page measures approximately 13.75" x 10.5", and the binder when closed measures 17.25" x 11.75" x 3.5" (spine edge). The guidebook comes in a slipcase measuring 17.5" x 12.25" x 3.75", decorated with small images of Mickey in a tuxedo. The entire slipcased binder weighs about 14 lbs.
