Description
Mickey Mouse "Barnyard Holiday" Felt Ornament Concept Paintings (Walt Disney, 2004). This is a gorgeous set of original concept paintings by Jody Daily for a boxed set of felt ornaments. The set features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Clara Cluck, and an Orphan Mickey Mouse in holiday attire, as they would have appeared in Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily's fictitious vintage Mickey Mouse short, "Barnyard Holiday." Kevin and Jody created Barnyard Holiday as a theming element for the holiday season at the Disneyland Hotel in 1995. Custom posters, signage, and decorations were created by Kevin and Jody in this memorable theming event. Jody Daily drew inspiration for the ornament set from that original use at the Disneyland Hotel nearly a decade prior. These five character paintings are accomplished on one sheet of art paper, and are created in watercolor and pencils. The sheet measures 10" x 6.75" and the artwork is in Very Good condition with minor surface wear from use. It is signed by Jody Daily.From the Personal Archives of Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily.
