McDonald's Ronald McDonald and Mayor McCheese Wall Plaques (1975). Ronald McDonald in a Hamburger Patch waves a happy hello in this original McDonaldland interior decor wall plaque. Joining him is Mayor McCheese, looking resplendent with his purple sash and top hat. These are from the historic McDonald's located in Oklahoma City on Pennsylvania Avenue, home of one of the very first McDonald's drive-thrus (opening on 5/5/1975). Ronald stands 35" and is 21.5" wide at the base. Ronald's waving arm had broken off and has been reattached. Mayor McCheese measures 23.25" x 16.5", and has several small broken areas, including his hat, whistle, and base. Both are noted as "1975" on back. Photocopied pages from the McDonald's Managers newsletter concerning this store are included. Overall Fair condition.
