    Description

    Good Old Charlie Brown Charles Schulz Autographed Book with Snoopy Sketch (Rinehart and Company, 1957). Signed and inscribed copy of the fourth paperback of Charles Schulz Peanuts newspaper strips, from 1955-57. This book is dedicated on page one in pen, "To Dick with Kindest Regards Sparky." Added to the dedication is a 4" hand-drawn sketch of Snoopy, with his 1950s-style longer snout. Charles Schultz (1922-2000) has signed his nickname Sparky in the book, something he usually did only for his personal friends. This is from the Estate of film historian, journalist, and Time Magazine Film Critic Richard Schickel. (1933-2017). Paperback is 5.5" x 8". Brittle pages with some page tears inside and minor handling. Good condition.
